3 – 6 – 9 months of expenses. Built slowly after the mini, no rush. (Six months? One day. Not today's problem.)

Your first target

The Mini Fund

PKR 30,000–50,000

Start with PKR 30,000. Once that's there, build toward PKR 50,000. This is your first layer of breathing room — not the whole emergency plan.

Keep it reachable within a week — a savings account earning around 10–11% today is a practical home. Rates change, so check before choosing.

Not in a committee, not lent out to a friend, and not kept in a locked drawer.
